“Help!”

How to summarise what we've done, what we do, what we could do? Our skills and expertise are in practical, policy-oriented research; evidence for policy, information for decision-making, finding out what works.
Applied to housing and planning that could result in an SHMA, for the health service it might mean a JSNA, in the voluntary sector it would be an acronym-free user survey. Whatever it's called we have the knowledge and experience to take your brief apart and then put it back together as a no-nonsense, cost-effective proposal.
Our hands-on experience of designing and delivering practical, quantitative and qualitative research includes:
- Postal questionnaires
- Face-to-face surveys
- Focus groups
- In-depth interviews (individual, paired or group)
We can support, advise or lead on service development matters, such as:
- Developing strategic processes
- Writing strategies
- Drafting and reviewing policy
- Delivering bespoke training
- Interim management
Take a look at the Projects page to see some examples of how we've successfully put the theory into practice
